I’m converting several of my blog post into videos, and here is one of the first. Peter Paul Rubens’, The Consequences of War, or the Horrors of War is a fascinating study. Today I was listening to a book about the Italian Renaissance and found it interesting that for centuries there was seldom a period of extended peace and prosperity in Italy, but due to some complicated circumstances peace reigned for a period, and this time of peace and plenty allowed the Renaissance to develop and flourish. I hope you enjoy the video and it gives you some ideas to think about.
